Six students from Ip Piano School had the opportunity to perform Mozart’s double piano concerto in F major with the Worcester Youth Orchestra in Mechanics Hall during their gala.  In addition, three students from Ip Piano played in the orchestra. See photos >>>

Piano Dedication, Kwong Kow Chinese School

In continuing support of Kwong Kow Chinese School, a baby grand piano was dedicated to the school from Winnie Ip.

The exciting program included: Tambourin (Gossec) - Timothy Lo, violin & Tiffany Tsang, piano; From the Homeland No.1 Moderato (Smetana) - Sara Ly, violin & Tiffany Tsang, piano; Allegro in F (Mozart) - The Industrious Student, Bischoff; The Old Cuckoo Clock (Bachinskaya) - Hannah To, piano; Nocturne Op.9 No.2 (Chopin) - Brian Li, piano Sonata Op.14 No. 2 Scherzo (Beethoven) - Tiffany Tsang, piano; Cuckoo (Arensky) - Fredelia Lee & Tiffany Lo, piano; Canon in D (Pachelbel) - Carly Cheng & Caitlin Cheng & Lindsey Chin & Zoe Chin, piano; Sonata in One Movement (Smetana) - Christopher Yu & Alice Ly & Kevin Tsang & Serena Pang, piano; Shepherd on the Rock (Schubert) - Meena Malik, voice & Sylvain Bouix, clarinet & Connor Chin, piano.

Youth Musicians’ Concerto Festival

Winnie Ip was asked to help organize the inaugural Greater Boston Young Musicians’ Concerto Festival for Merrimack Valley Enrichment Center (MVEC).  This gives young musicians a rare opportunity to perform a concerto piece with a full orchestra. See photos >>>

Our collaboration with The Rachel Molly Markoff Foundation in a Double Concerto Fundraising Concert, April 2, 2006 at Tsai Performance Center was a great success. We gratefully acknowledge the extraordinary support and generosity of advertisers, foundations, individuals who have made donation to this event. We were able to raise $25,000. Proceeds benefited The Foundation funds research programs designed to find a cure for cancer, particularly brain tumors in children.
